Can you save on car insurance just by owning winter tires?

This question is related to   Ford Land Rover Toyota Buffalo Cleveland Minnesota New York Utah

Estimated cost for car insurance $1 dollars.

Is it true, that investing in snow tires can save you some money on car insurance? How is it with legislation for snow tires in the United States? In the US there is no overlapping regulation for all its states. Why?  Many Americans live in U.S states, where it never snows, and rarely gets below freezing. And the others? Most cities in the USA get some fresh snow in January, February and December. But remember, if your car is equipped with four (homologated) winter tires, you will be able to save up to 3-10% on your car insurance, depending on your policy and place you live!

Is it better and cheaper to use all-season tires or winter tires?

Firstly, you should know more about the snow tire law in your area. After that, you can find the best insurance company which is offering insurance discount for winter tires! The regulations (owning winter tires) can be different from state to state and region to region.

It is highly recommendable to use winter tires in the winter time, especially if you drive in the northern states!
